the plant has produced top dairy brands

Pursuing customer satisfaction and valuing team honor have been the goals of all employees of the Kaohsiung Plant since its establishment in 1969. After the establishment of an automated dairy plant in 1991, all of its employees have been working hard to make Wei Chuan’s fresh milk brands famous throughout Taiwan. Because of consumers’ recognition of and greater demand for Wei Chuan’s fresh milk, the production lines of the dairy plant were expanded in 1999, making the Kaohsiung Plant one of the few dairy plants in Taiwan with the most advanced equipment and production capacity.

Products from the Kaohsiung Plant, such as Linfengying Milk, Wandan Milk, Premium Quality Milk, Bernachon Coffee and Wei Chuan Pudding, are all well-known brands. As these products gain popularity and trust among consumers, the Kaohsiung Plant always upholds the belief that “quality is our life, responsibility and honor” during the manufacturing process.

The Kaohsiung Plant has actively participated in evaluations conducted by various certification organizations. In 2016, the plant received the ISO22000 and SQF Level 3 certifications. In 2018, the plant received the FSSC 22000 certification. The plant has been able to pass evaluations for extension of the certifications each year with high scores, to ensure that consumers can “eat assuredly, drink safely”. Moreover, Wei Chuan has maintained a transparent and open manufacturing process, and QR codes can be used to check the production and manufacturing history of each product to ensure consumers’ right to know.

After several decades, the spirit and efforts of all employees of the plant and the R&D and operating teams of Wei Chuan deserve recognition and praise. In the future, the Kaohsiung Plant will continue to make high-quality products for consumers, hoping that one day the fresh milk brand will return to the top of Taiwan’s market share and become the leading fresh milk product in Taiwan.
