Based on the characteristics and positioning of different business sectors, Wei Chuan consists of the following business systems: food, packaging, and import/export trade. Each of these business systems is organized according to its specialization and core advantages, and they support each other within the Group to generate synergy and maximize the value of Wei Chuan’s operations.

Food

In recent years, we have continued to invest heavily in R&D and marketing resources. In addition to improving the quality of our products, we have been promoting transparent farms, transparent plants and dairy farming upgrade programs in terms of food safety and systems in order to enhance the competitiveness of our operations, and we have strengthened our interaction and connection with consumers through integrated marketing, so that in the future there will be room for breakthroughs regarding development in the market.

Packaging materials

Focusing on the manufacturing of food packaging materials, we have started working on technological breakthroughs, enhancing the quality of human resources, and developing overseas markets. We have been developing our core competitive advantages, and we are actively expanding into the markets in Japan, Australia and the Americas through continuous development. In the future, we will continue to strengthen our core products, develop domestic and overseas markets, and utilize quality and service as our long-term business advantages.

Import/Export trade

Our primary import business is the purchase of commodities or key raw materials required by the Group, focusing on food raw materials, and our export business aims for the marketing and promotion of the Group’s products and Taiwanese specialties around the world. Currently, we are actively strengthening the Group’s internal and external product purchase and trading services, and our exported products are mainly for supplying Wei Chuan’s specialty products to meet the needs of overseas customers.

Seeking constant improvement and pursuing excellence

With “food safety” as Wei Chuan’s DNA, we adhere to the belief of “building and implementing a transparent, open and safe supply chain system, complying with the national food safety policies, enhancing product standards in line with international requirements, and prioritizing consumers’ right to know and to eat with assurance and healthily”, which is strictly and thoroughly implemented in the processes for product, production, purchase, management, engineering, business and service.

We strictly monitor every detail “from farm to table” and have adopted SQF (Safe Quality Food) as the spirit of management to meet consumers’ expectations for food safety. With a standardized system as the focus, we organize training sessions at all levels to perform the functions of all departments through effective operation of PDCA, and we seek to comprehensively implement food safety and quality control measures in line with international standards.

We have invested heavily in liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) and real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) to establish a food safety and quality inspection network, and our HACCP system has received CAS, TQF, HALAL, and FSSC 22000 certifications, as well as the international food safety and quality standard certification of SQF, to improve the level of quality control.
