Wei Chuan firmly believes that in order to achieve sustainable development, it is necessary to understand the thoughts of stakeholders and maintain good communication and interaction with them. Identifying material issues through interaction serves as an essential basis for the development of CSR strategies.

We have established a CSR Office responsible for the management of CSR issues and activities to assist the Board of Directors and managers in supervising and understanding the implementation of CSR in all areas of our business for the purpose of transforming CSR in all areas into a more strategic CSR development plan.

Stakeholder Communiation

We have assessed potential groups of stakeholders and, through internal discussions between the CSR teams and departmental managers, identified 10 categories of stakeholders, including investors and financial institutions, government agencies, associations and civil groups, media, consumers, communities, distributors and channels, suppliers, employees and their families, directors, supervisors and key management, and peer food companies. We use questionnaires and statistics to understand the issues with which Wei Chuan stakeholders are concerned, and use these results a basis of reference for information disclosure in the report to communicate effectively with them.
